The Fulton Stall Market Presents “Look Who’s Cooking” Classes for Families! The Fulton Stall Market provides local food producers a Seaport marketplace and a chance to offer their farm fresh products to Lower Manhattan residents and visitors alike. In addition, visitors can participate in workshops, shop with local artisans and sample delicious food. Some of their vendors include Roonybrook Dairy Farm Milk, Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse and Hodgsons Farm.
The Fulton Stall Market Presents “Look Who’s Cooking”, a Family Cook Production. The Fulton Stall Market will be hosting family cooking classes in the market on Saturdays, beginning on April 25th. FiDi Families are encouraged to cook together, to offer some options for parents with picky eaters, and to show the benefits of purchasing home meal ingredients locally, which is available at the Fulton Stall Market. Plus, studies have shown that family bonds can be much stronger, when families cook and eat together.
What will your family enjoy during these lively hands on cooking classes?
– Basic cooking and knife skills
– A weekly scavenger hunt in the market with the local farmers
– Nutrition fundamentals that are fun and easy to understand
– New cooking tools and gadgets that engage adults and kids alike
– Multicultural recipes that you can make in a snap
– An opportunity to bond over a delicious, fresh, seasonal meal
Each Family Cook class is $10 per person and it covers the cost of ingredients. Any funds left over at the end of the 4 week series will be donated to the Spruce Street School & Peck Slip School PTA funds.
FiDi Families Insiders: FiDi Families have been offered a special discount code (FIDIFAM) and anyone who uses it will get 50% off the cost of this amazing class.
