Little Water Radio Debut! A burgeoning collective of musicians, producers and djs are bringing live, independent radio to Lower Manhattan. Little Water Radio (LWR) makes its broadcasting debut!
Each weekend LWR streams live from the market, offering an unique voice to the surrounding community by showcasing local events, businesses and residents, including interviews with local artists and musicians and chef demos by neighborhood restaurants.
Operating as a free-form netradio station, LWR presents a wide range of DJs with a track record of delivering adventurous, eclectic programming. On-air personalities have the freedom to be as creative as possible in developing the format of their shows, which run in 2 hour time blocks. LWR features interviews, live performances, comedy and talk, record release previews and some of New Yorks best DJ talent, such as Delphine Blue, Northern Spy Records and Hans Tammen of Harvestworks.
In addition to its weekly schedule, LWR streams a live broadcast from noon to 7 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday from the Fulton Stall Market. The line-up includes live bands, chef demonstrations, interviews, stories, and, of course excellent music.
Date: Saturday, April 25th
Location: Front Street (Fulton Stall Market)
