The 2nd Annual Taste of Battery Park City will showcase the restaurants in Battery Park along the BPC riverfront beginning at North Cove Marina. There are 19 restaurants that will be participating in the event. There will also be a kids activities area for kids of all ages. Ticket price includes 5 tastes. There will also be beer and wine for sale (CASH only). Proceeds will benefit local school PS 89.

NYC Restaurant Week is a semiannual promotion that celebrates fine dining at an affordable price. The Winter promotion goes from Monday, January 23rd to Friday, February 10th. Participating restaurants offer three-course fixed menus specially priced for lunch and/or dinner. Reservations are highly recommended. However, the NYC Restaurant Week menu is offered to all guests, including walk-ins. Restaurants offer a minimum of three choices for appetizers, three choices for entrées and at least two desserts. The Old Seaport Alliance is a non-profit neighborhood improvement organization made up of local businesses and residents. The OSA works together to support, enhance, promote, and celebrate our historic Seaport community. The volunteer-run organization is launching a monthly “Old Seaport Alliance Happy Hour” to meet residents and supporters of the Old Seaport Alliance and to energize their membership recruitment by showcasing a local establishment for each monthly soiree. The rotating happy hour will occur on the 3rd Thursday of each month.
