Lower Manhattan Moms Mixer Recap
Two local Moms recently invited Moms from Lower Manhattan schools to attend a Moms Mixer with the them “Wine Around the World” at the Seaport Community Cube. The Howard Hughes Corporation generously donated the space. Soul Cycle donated passes to the attendees and one lucky recipient won Soul Cycle fitness gear.
Moms were invited from local area schools including Peck Slip, Spruce Street, Paradigm Kids and the Downtown Little School. The event was free to attend and Moms donated a bottle of wine and dropped it off at the appropriate table, as areas were designated according to regions. Moms had a chance to talk about raising children in Lower Manhattan, compare school experiences and discuss parenting strategies.
It was a great opportunity to meet local Moms and to have a fun night out in our own backyard. Plans are underway for the next one, this Spring, so stay tuned!
