Kids’ Night on Broadway. The Broadway League invites kids to see participating Broadway shows for free on Kids’ Night on Broadway, when accompanied by a full-paying adult. KNOB takes place throughout NYC, including off-Broadway venues. There are many shows to choose from but some of our favorites include Cinderella and Matilda. There are limited tickets left for this great introduction to Broadway for younger theatre fans. The 2014 Kids’ Night on Broadway National Ambassador is Idina Menzel, star of Broadway’s new musical If/Then. We hope to see you on the Great White Way!

Yo Re Mi – Music and Yoga (Spring Registration). Yo Re Mi is a musical yoga program for children ages 2 through 8. In each fun-filled session, kids journey to exotic destinations using their bodies, voices, and imaginations. Through Yo Re Mi’s unique integration of yoga and music, they collaboratively explore nature, geography, culture, rhythm, dance, songwriting and playing instruments. Yo Re Mi can help children develop confidence, expand their creative side, and have fun with family and friends. Parents and siblings are encouraged to join the singing and dancing!
Yo Re Mi began at TriBeCa Community School where co-founder Dan Costello is the music teacher. Rachel Costello is a certified Yoga Teacher in various styles including Yoga for Children. The married team are professional musicians and have performed in over twenty countries.

Free Family Concert…Bubble Do the Beatles. Join FiDi Families for “A Hard Day’s Night To Rubber Soul 50th Anniversary Concert”. Family/kids concert event – 2pm and 4pm shows. FREE tickets with RSVP (link below).
The South Street Seaport is extending is continuing the Winter concert series at the heated “Cube” at the indoor space that is a great weekend destination for families. Join your neighbors for an afternoon of great music with “Bubble Do the Beatles” family concert. Bubble is an original indie pop band from NYC. They were founded in 1994 by songwriter Dave Foster and drummer/producer Tom DeVito. In 2005 Bubble performed the Beatles “Revolver” for classic Album night at Arlene’s Grocery. It was so much fun Bubble decided to perform Beatles music for adults and their children.
The pop up space has a full bar, appetizer menu, couches and plenty of room for kids to dance and sing. The concert program is an extension of See/Change and is a welcome venue and event for families that are looking for fun things to do, nearby and indoors! Parents will be thrilled to know that it is all free!

Grand Central Holiday Train Show. The annual train show is in full swing! If you have a train fanatic in your house, then you need to grab the backpack, snacks and water and jump on the 4 train to Grand Central Station. The amazing train show is better than ever. The miniature world is a delight to kids of all ages and a bucket list must for FiDi Families. Considering the cold weather, this is the perfect indoor activity for kids of all ages. Afterwards, head downstairs and try some of the great restaurants and bakeries for some great food. And, stop by Kidding Around, one of the best toy stores in the City. Take advantage of some great shops in this amazing landmark.
