Kings Hoops NYC Basketball Clinics. Spring semester basketball has begun in FiDi Hope all is well. Clinics are 8 weeks long and run until the end of April for both boys and girls. These youth basketball clinics will focus on skills development, competitive drills, and games. The program will be directed by Michael Murray, former coach at Columbia University.
There will also be travel teams this season forU10, U12, and U14 boys!
Keep in mind, there will be no session Saturday, March 26th.

PAUSE/PLAY. The 14th Street Y and Down Jewish Life presents, PAUSE/PLAY. This innovative Saturday afternoon of Shabbat programming will be the final Pause/Play event this winter. Free Home Depot Workshop for Kids! Time to get hands-on! Did you know that Home depot offers free workshops the first Saturday of every month? These workshops are perfect for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and experience levels. The workshop for the month of March welcomes kids to come and and build a rolling toy wagon for their tiny toys. Once the wagon is built, your child can decorate it with The Home Depot stickers.
What’s the best part about this event? All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.

Book Talk with Bridie Gauthier. Bridie is the Head of School of the Montessori School of Manhattan and co-founded MSM in 2002. In 2011, she launched a charitable outreach project raising the capital, which built a preschool for two and three-year-old children in the impoverished Batey Lecheria, Dominican Republic.
Birdie was born and raised in Ontario, Canada and has been an educator of young children for 30 years. She left Canada in 1995 to come to NYC, where she met and married her husband, Joe. She spends her time running MSM and travelling to the Dominican Republic to conduct faculty training seminars and to work hands-on with the children of the Batey, and spending time with her godson, Kai.
Practical Life for Parents is a collection of tips, hints, and advice that Bridie has offered to real parents, living real lives, raising real kids.
