Thanks to the team at Good Morning America, for the chance to participate in a fun but hard challenge “Breaking Up with Your Phone” with Dan Harris. Not only is Dan a journalist, but also an author of the book “10% Happier”. He is working on a new series of Happiness Hacks and his latest, is challenging viewers to rethink their cell phone usage. And, to consider breaking up with your cell phone. He recruited author Catherine Price, who penned “How to Break Up with your Phone” to help us with steps and tips on doing just that.
The 7 day challenge involved small steps that will have a lasting impact; using an alarm clock to wake up and not my cell phone alarm, putting my phone to bed each night and not using it, after it was “asleep”, charging my phone in a room other than the bedroom and several other tips and tricks.
