Is there anything better than a steaming hot cup of delicious hot chocolate? Well, we have you covered. Read on for some of the best cups of cocoa in Lower Manhattan! 

Where to get the best hot chocolate in FiDi:

T Cafe 

Where: Tin Building, 96 South Street 

The 411: We love the Tin Building! And this new fast casual spot has some delectable hot chocolate as well coffee by La Colombe and baked bread and pastries.

Matto Espresso 

Where: 37 John Street 

The 411: Their hot chocolate comes in one size and is made with a chocolate powder mixed with cinnamon and sugar. They have a choice of whole milk, 2 %m or half and half. No dairy free option at this time.

Blue Bottle Coffee 

Where: 22 Broad Street 

The 411: Three sizes available. This one is decadent as it is made with chocolate ganache and your choice of whole, oat, or almond milk.

Café Patoro

Where: 223 Front Street 

The 411: At this popular Seaport cafe your hot chocolate can be made with white or dark chocolate! Non-dairy options are a slight upcharge and marshmallows and peppermint are available for a small fee. Yummy!

Epicerie Boulud 

Where: The Oculus (185 Greenwich Street, Lower Level) 

The 411: Made with dark chocolate syrup and your choice of milk. Frothy and delicious.

Where: 66 Pearl Street 

The 411: Rich hot chocolate and empanadas can be found here. A welcome addition to the neighborhood!

Where: 42 Wall Street, 100 Wall Street, and 80 Broad Street 

The 411: Their house-made chocolate balanced with vanilla and steamed milk with a thin layer of foam will totally warm your heart! With many locations you will stumble across this gem on your daily walks.

Where: 45 John Street 

The 411: They have a kids’ sized option here! I repeat, kids’ sized option! So great for those who want a few sips before they throw it away. It is so yummy and rich too. 

Cafe Grumpy

Where: 20 Stone Street 

The 411: They are known for amazing coffee, but their hot chocolate is just as good. Definitely stop in to this open and airy location for a sweet cup of cocoa.

Where to get the best hot chocolate in Battery Park City:

For Five Coffee 

Where: Brookfield Place (2nd Floor, south side) ; 225 Liberty Street 

The 411: Home of the Gotham Hot Chocolate which is made with dark chocolate syrup and warm milk. Make it a Gotham Mocha which includes a shot of espresso. A perfect libation to sip after a skate at the Rink.

The Elk at Clean Market 

Where: Brookfield Place (2nd Floor, north side) 

The 411: An excellent beverage made with double dark hot chocolate mix, using premium sweet chocolate bits and two kinds of cocoa, and your choice of milk.

Where to get the best hot chocolate in Tribeca:

Duane Street Patisserie 

Where: 179 Duane Street

The 411: This one is a treat! Hot chocolate made with fresh granche each morning! Whole milk is added and steamed. Definitely more of a high price beverage, but oh so worth it! Grab a ring ding while you are there!

Kaffe Landskap 

Where: 401 Greenwich Street and 275 Greenwich Street They make theirs with 2 oz of creamy chocolate and your choice of milk.

Where: 109 West Broadway 

The 411: Amazingly rich cocoa that is spun in a pitcher with steamed and silky milk and served with chocolate shavings is on the menu here. Don’t miss out!

The 411: Classic hot chocolate with your choice of milk can be found here. Great to run and grab a cup before you hop on the subway!

Where: 211 West Broadway 

The 411: Omanhene cocoa steamed with the milk of your choice served in the prettiest to-go cup we have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and grab one of their decadent and will not disappoint cookies.

🥂 @watermarkny has created a winter wonderland and families can take part in the Santa Clause Experience which is being offered on New Year’s Eve. Tickets include hot cocoa, a visit with the man himself, hand warmers, and a souvenir Santa hat. Tickets start at $30. Or you could book your own igloo if going with a group or tack on brunch which is also being offered 🥂 @tribecagrill is hosting a NYE party in their iconic space. Great music and dining will be found here. Dine and dance the night away. Reservations after 9 pm grants a table for the whole evening. If you like you can bring the kids (under 12 is ½ price). $175 per guest for what sounds like a fun evening.
🥂 @ledistrict is hosting a party! You can book open bar tickets here. Tickets for open bar only at $105 and dinner plus open bar is $195. 

And if you have night owls and are up at midnight why not head to Battery Park esplanade to watch the fireworks over the Statue of Liberty. Truly a bucket list activity for sure! 💥
