Join us on Saturday, July 13 at City of Water Day, a free harbor-wide festival organized by the Waterfront Alliance to get people to, on, and in the water!
In partnership with the South Street Seaport Museum, the festival headquarters will be held at the Seaport District, where visitors will enjoy a day of waterfront exploration, learning, and fun, including children’s activities sponsored by Disney.
And don’t miss the one-and-only Con Edison Cardboard Kayak Race at Brooklyn Bridge Beach on City of Water Day! Teams will build their two-person cardboard vessels at Peck Slip between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm, then present them for judging. At 1 pm, the cardboard boats will be paraded from Peck Slip to Brooklyn Bridge Beach, and the racing will begin at 1:30 pm!
