Whitney Wees: Move It

Whitney Wees: Move It. This interactive experience will have your children looking, sharing, and working together in the galleries. This month features Frank Stella’s large paintings. Families will do movement activities inspired by the speed, curving lines, and dynamic shapes in Stella’s work.

This program has been developed specifically for kids 4 – 5 years old, but siblings are welcome to join the group. Tickets are required, please reserve tickets for adults and children to attend this program.

Frank Stella is one of the most important living American artists! This presentation of Stella’s career showcases approximately 100 works from the mid-1950s to the present. Enjoy Stella’s paintings, reliefs, maquettes, sculptures, and drawings. This exhibit has been co-organized by the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Whitney.

Keep an eye out for more family tours and programing with Whitney Kids for the rest of the winter. Whitney Museum of American Art presents the full range of 20th century and contemporary American art, with a special focus on works by living artists. The Whitney collects, preserve, interprets, and exhibits American Art.

Date: Saturday, January 23rd [Read more…] about Whitney Wees: Move It

Nailed it! At Home Experience was a messy but fun Nailed it! At Home Experience was a messy but fun afternoon. Think this dynamic duo did a great job of creating the Double Trouble Double (and a single) Cheeseburger Meal. And it tastes delicious! It did topple over at the end but no one cared, since we weren’t in the running for $10,000 like it is on the @netflix show @nailedit !

As a native CA girl who grew up with orange 🍊 groves; oranges and the sun ☀️ are a perfect pairing. Grateful for the gorgeous weather and the feeling of hope that Spring brings.
