KidBox: The Brilliant New Concept That Makes Clothes Shopping Fun And Helps Others

Guest Contributor: Janice Turner

For many parents, taking our children clothes shopping can be a stressful and expensive experience. As they get older and begin to become more fashion conscious, the cost continues to rise, and what used to be a fun filled day becomes more like a chore.

That’s why I was delighted to take delivery of Kidbox, which is a brilliant idea, and certainly helped solve our families clothes shopping problems. The concept behind Kidbox is that for a set amount of money, their fashion experts will fill up your kids subscription box with modern fashionable clothing appropriate to the time of year.

The process starts with the completion of a short quiz, which took our family about ten minutes to complete, but would probably take a regular family about three minutes. We found the quiz to be great fun, and I am not ashamed to admit that I learned a few things about my kid’s tastes that shocked me a little.

Once the quiz is completed, you simply complete the order and wait for the delivery day, and this is where the fun really starts.

Delivery Day Is Like A Mini Christmas Day Five Times A Year

Your first box is normally delivered to you within seven to ten days of ordering, and typically the kids were at school when our first Kidbox arrived. Although I was really tempted to rip open the packaging and see what clothes had been picked for my kids, I managed to contain myself and wait for their return from school.

The excitement on their faces when they saw the huge boxes was a wonderful feeling, and we then settled down to investigate the contents. The success rate considering that this was the first order, was surprisingly high, with all of the kids liking the vast majority of the clothes that had been chosen for them. Although some of the choices were not to my taste, the kids were delighted, which kind of demonstrated to me that perhaps my fashion and tastes are not quite as modern as I thought.

There were some items of clothing that were not a success, but the good news is that you are not stuck with these. If an item doesn’t fit properly, then the company will swap the size for free, and if you don’t like certain items, for whatever reason, you can simply return those products to Kidbox for a refund.

There Are Some Serious Savings To Be Made

Normally you have to pay for such convenience, but unbelievably there are huge savings to be made from each kids subscription box you purchase. The total cost per box is $98.00. Let’s assume you keep everything that comes in the box, which is anywhere between 6 to 8 separate items, the average saving is approximately $150, which I am sure you will agree is considerable.

Did I Mention The Charity Aspect?

As you know here at The Scribble, we are passionate about educating our kids about empathy and the community, which is another bonus of Kidbox. For every Kidbox ordered, the company delivers a new outfit to a kid in need, but it gets even better. To help your child to understand and feel even more engaged in the process, you can pick which organization the outfit will be delivered to. We have reviewed many products here at The Scribble, but I don’t think any other product has ever been such a perfect match for the ethos and foundations of this website.

The Kids subscription box is a brilliant idea, it provides excellent value, solves a fashion problem, is great fun, and a kid in need also gets a free outfit, it’s genius pure and simple. Give it a try today!
