Battery Park Library Hosts a Multi-lingual Storytime

With the recent ban on NYC crowds of 500+, many private schools have closed and many public school kids are urged to stay home if possible. If you find yourself home with the kids, enjoy the time together through play and reading books together. Let them help you with laundry (match socks,) with preparing meals (mixing bowls,) and cleaning up. Enjoy dance parties. Play with them and their toys in new ways they may have not thought of.

Family Science Program at BPCL

Family Science Program at BPCL. Head to Battery Park City Library with your whole family to learn more about parachutes and how they slow down when they are falling. The kids will get a chance to make their own parachute and there will even be a contest to see which parachute is the slowest at the end of the program. You can’t be a free and highly educational program that’s just down the street from home!

Wild Kratts Live! Head down to the NYU Skirball Center to see Martin and Chris Kratt, the real-life stars of PBS’s Emmy-nominated Wild Kratts. Their new theatrical stage show is based on the hit animated television series. Martin and Chris engage the audience in a classic Wild Kratts adventure! And remember one hour before the show there is a fun educational activity in the lobby!
