Fulton Stall Market CSA Launches for the Summer!

June 21, 2020 by Denise Courter

Fulton Stall Market CSA Launches for the Summer!

PARTNER

The Fulton Stall Market Summer CSA begins on June 18 and ends on September 3 (12 weeks). Pickup is Thursday 4:00-6:00 PM, or you may pick up Friday or Saturday 11:30 AM-4:00 PM. All CSA produce shares are pre-bagged for safe, smooth, and efficient pick-up, with one CSA member at a time in the store.  A hot-water handwash station is immediately inside. If you wish to purchase additional items they will be collected for you by our friendly and caring staff.  We will hold any shares not picked-up through Saturday, after which they will be donated.

Our 14 CSA share options include fresh local vegetables, summer fruits, eggs, mushrooms, cheese, pasta, summer soups, seafood, chicken, beef, pork, plus our Heat & Serve share (rotation of farm-sourced vegetable quiches, pot pies, tamales, empanadas, and turkey sausages) and (new) Dessert share (rotation of small-batch home-made ice creams, loaf cakes/cupcakes and summer fruit pies).  Equivalent local product substitutions may be made when necessary.

We hope you will join our Summer CSA. Your pre-paid membership secures for you a reliable weekly supply of high-quality locally grown food and supports up to 14 local farmers and producers committed to supplying FSM’s CSA. You will receive a weekly email every Thursday listing the specific items/varieties in your shares as well as an update-from-the-field (literally) from our MacArthur grant award-winning vegetable farmer Cheryl Rogowski of Pine Island, NY in the Hudson Valley’s “black dirt region” of rich, organic soils.

Sign up for the full 12-week Summer CSA season by Saturday, June 13. You may sign up online, indicating your share choices, or in person at the market. Pay by credit/debit card in person at the market, open Monday-Saturday (11:30 AM-4 PM), or by calling in your card info (2% surcharge) to (212) 349-1380 during these hours. Sign-ups for fewer than 12 weeks are welcome (cost will be pro-rated based on #weeks). Consider partnering with a friend or neighbor to share the CSA cost and pickup.

Details on CSA farm share options and costs are listed HERE as well as on our website.

Join anytime – we are here to help support your local food needs.

If you have any questions please call us at (212) 349-1380 or email us at info@fultonstallmarket.org.

We look forward to helping you eat locally this Summer – more than ever!
