Christmas Celebration at Washington Market Park!

December 3, 2018 by Denise Courter

Christmas Celebration at Washington Market Park!

The Friends of Washington Market Park are excited about this year’s annual Christmas party. Come help welcome the guest of honor, Santa! This is a great opportunity for kids to say hello to Santa and let him know what they are wishing for this year. This also gives your family a chance to give back. Don’t miss out on the complimentary cookies and hot apple cider.

Santa will be the guest of honor at our annual Christmas party! Riding to the park in style – sometimes by pedicab, sometimes peddled by an oversized elf – Santa takes requests from children on his throne stationed at the gazebo. Activities with KinderCare.

FiDi Families Insiders: Consider supporting a local children’s organization and bring an unwrapped gift to the party!

Date: Saturday, December 8th

Time: 2p -3p

Location: Washington Market Park

Ages: All

Fee: Free

For more information, please visit their website HERE

Life is funny. A year ago I was celebrating 20 yea Life is funny. A year ago I was celebrating 20 years of calling NYC home. A year later, our family is on a crazy career adventure in Miami, with a lot of unknowns.

But, we do know that we only get one life to live and jumping in feet first is the only way to live life to the fullest, at least in our minds 😂.

We are already in love with the Miami weather, the happy people, the gorgeous beaches 🏝 and the day tripping way of life. We arrived in FL w a suitcase each and a mask 😷. Happy that we are surrounded by mask-wearers. Wasn’t sure what to expect. But, we will be back in NYC this summer. Lots of decisions to make between now and then. But also lots of fun and exploring over the next few months.

The silver lining of the Covid world we live in is remote learning allows us to travel and say yes to new beginnings. Stay tuned for updates on the next chapter for our website, too.
