Williamsburg is reopening their new Putting Green a 18--hole mini golf course on the waterfront in Williamsburg. The putting green is a climate changed- themed course with each hole showcases some of the issues facing our planet.

Now in its 15th year, City of Water Day, is a free region-wide day organized by the Waterfront Alliance, the NY-NJ Harbor & Estuary Program to raise awareness about the dangers we all face from sea level rise and climate change.

Friends of + POOL at Pier 17: We’ll have a one day pop-up exhibition of urban swim and a series of walking tours through the Brooklyn Bridge Esplanade to Pier 35, the future site of + POOL. During the tour, + POOL docents will discuss stewardship of the river and the history of swimming in the river. Tours will depart from Pier 17 every 30 minutes throughout the day. 

New York Outrigger at Pier 66: Free outrigger canoe paddling from 12pm - 2 pm from our boathouse. Participants will receive land training, learn about outrigger paddling and our organization's goal of providing equitable access to the Hudson River, and then get to experience paddling one of our six-man canoes.

Sway’s BLOOM! Is coming to Brookfield Place. Thi Sway’s BLOOM! Is coming to Brookfield Place. This free 20 -minute performance  is a family-friendly, colorful, and spirited performance exploring themes of earth and nature, community, transformation, individuality, and diversity from the top of 14 foot poles. Accompanied by an original soundtrack by Ania Reynolds, BLOOM! celebrates the ephemeral and simultaneously beautiful nature of life. Fun for the whole family!
